Hi,

Last night Leffir and i went to an amazing show.

Sandman Viper Command

Kidstreet

Tricky Carerra

Jokers of the Scene

and

Greengo.

It was powerful. We were in a little cafe on Ottawa University's campus so the sound was magical. My favourite of these acts was Greengo. I saw them perform very intimately at a house party last year, beyond wild. I would describe them as a mix of Emily Haines from Metric with a stronger, more dancy base line.

Jeff Harris is one of my favorite photographers right now who caught my interest with his 3653 Self-Portraits exhibit that was showcased at the CONTACT Festival in Toronto last year.

Regrettably I didn't get to see the exhibition firsthand but I think the concept is really cool, he took a self-portrait every single day with 35mm film. Fashion Television did a segment on Jeff Harris and it really sums it up.
